chocolate: good news

I don't alway think about things that are bad for you. The good new is there are many things that are good. But it seem it all goes back to man changing it from its natural state even chocolate.

Point is we can have most anything in its pure natural form. If we get back to cooking and take pure natural things and blend them together we can have most anything. And like fruits and veggie strait of the tree or vine you have never tasted the really greatness of it all before.

The raw, tasty truth about natural chocolate

Skip the average bar and reach for nutrient-packed cacao treats instead

Cacao is extraordinarily high in vitamin C, contains omega-6 fatty acids and is one of the best sources of natural fiber.
By Marisa Belger

There seems to be a palate evolution with chocolate consumption, and I’m proud to announce that I’ve graduated to the next step. First there was drugstore-quality milk chocolate in all of its trick-or-treat incarnations: individual kisses, snuggled against peanut butter, pressed against caramel and nougat or sprinkled with peanuts or almonds. Then there was introductory dark chocolate — heavy on the sugar and cocoa butter, light on actual cocoa content. After that I moved on to what I thought was the chocolate big leagues — dark chocolate made with 70 percent or more cocoa content. At this point chocolate was no longer a child’s distraction, it had developed into something serious — to be savored, appreciated and analyzed — not unlike a fine wine.
I was content to remain here, consciously sliding dark squares of elegant chocolate into my mouth whenever I needed to be transported to a complex, multilayered taste experience. I quickly discovered that extra-dark chocolate is not the binge chocolate of yesteryear. Consuming mass quantities while PMSing or nursing a broken heart just doesn’t work. Dark chocolate takes your mouth on a wild journey, it’s an unknown eco-adventure for your taste buds — so you have to tread lightly.
Honestly, I was content to stay right where I was, sampling the growing collection of artisanally crafted, often-organic dark chocolate bars, truffles and hot chocolate powders, when I stumbled on this crazy thing called a cacao bean. Told that this was chocolate in its original state, I popped the strange object into my mouth and discovered that it was hard, crunchy and seriously bitter. Alone, tempered with no sugar or milk solids, the bean was almost confronting in its intensity. But this was the source of all chocolate and so I persevered. But I soon found out that I could experience it in a much more delicious fashion — raw chocolate bars.
Simply explained, raw chocolate is chocolate that is unroasted and has been combined with a few unobtrusive ingredients like agave or sea salt. Most conventional chocolate bars are made with roasted chocolate and combined with a variety of other heavy ingredients, like refined sugar. For me, raw chocolate is a simple, unrefined chocolate experience. Daniel Sklaar, the chocolatier behind Brooklyn’s Fine and Raw Chocolate, calls it “a complete celebration of food.” Well, it’s that too. Over the past few years you may have heard a bit about the antioxidant benefits of dark chocolate, but those claims did little to highlight the nutritional powerhouse that is raw chocolate. This stuff is truly good for you. According to David Wolfe, author of “Naked Chocolate: The Astounding Truth About the World’s Greatest Food,” chocolate in its natural state is the best form of magnesium, chromium and iron, which are the top three mineral deficiencies in the U.S. Wolfe, one of raw chocolate’s biggest advocates, also credits cacao with being extraordinarily high in vitamin C. Cacao also contains omega-6 fatty acids and is one of the best sources of natural fiber. So doesn’t the average bar contain these things too? Not so much, explains Wolfe. When cacao is roasted it looses its vitamin C and its fiber is disturbed. Cooking cacao also destroys PEAs (phenylethylamines), the chemicals contained in chocolate that make us feel like we’re in love.
Green is the new black! Raw chocolate also contains neurotransmitter modulating agents, which are chemicals that act as natural antidepressants. “They allow our neurotransmitters like serotonin to remain in our bloodstream longer than usual,” explains Wolfe. “This makes us younger. The more chocolate you eat, the longer you live.” His words are not wishful thinking. A Harvard study of 7,841 healthy men found that those who ate chocolate did indeed live longer than those who abstained. It could be those antioxidants at work. According to Wolfe, raw cacao is the No. 1 antioxidant food in the world — 30 times higher than red wine and 20 times higher than green tea.
And then there are those love chemicals, those PEAs. Wolfe believes that raw chocolate is not only a tasty way to improve your health and vitality, but that it’s also a path to healing and soothing your heart, increasing your sensuality and enhancing your love life. Not bad for a sweet treat. Sklaar’s words followed me as I snapped off another chunk of his Lacuma and Vanilla bar: “Chocolate is a full experience.” Mmmmm. Hmmmmm.
For more information on the health benefits of raw chocolate, check out David Wolfe's new book, "Superfoods: The Food and Medicine of the Future."

Kidney detox or cleanse just one of many

Different Types of Kidney Cleanse

1. Fruit Juices
Fruit juices like watermelon juice and cranberry juice are effective kidney cleanses. Continuously eating watermelons or drinking its juice for a day or two is an effective way to dissolve kidney stones. Even though I didn't have any kidney stone symptoms, I did a kidney cleanse by taking watermelon juice and 1.5 liters of water every morning for more than a week. This was to prepare myself for a liver cleanse.
If you have kidney stones, then the large amount of fluids passing through the kidneys will begin loosening and eliminating any stones and as it passes through the micro tubules you may feel some passing sharp or dull pain depending on the type of stones you may have.

2. Dr. Hulda Clark's Herbal Preparation
Dr. Hulda Clark recommends in her book "The Cure For All Diseases", the following herbal preparation for kidney stones:
Ingredients Organic please

1/2 cup dried Hydrangea root
1/2 cup Gravel root
1/2 cup Marshmallow root
4 bunches fresh parsley
goldenrod tincture (should be left out if you are allergic to it)
ginger capsules
Uva ursi capsules
Vegetable glycerin
Black Cherry concentrate (8oz.)
Vitamin B6
Magnesium oxide tablets (300 mg.)
Method:

a. Soak the roots for 10 hours in a non-metal container.

b. Add the Black Cherry concentrate, boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Drink a ¼ cup. Strain the rest and freeze in several containers.

c. Boil parsley in a quart of water and drink a ¼ cup when it is cool. Throw away the parsley and refrigerate the rest.

d. Every morning drink combine the following:

3/4 cup root mixture + ½ cup parsley water + 20 drops goldenrod tincture +I tbsp glycerin.

e. Drink the above a little throughout the day. Do not drink all at once as you can get stomach ache and also feel the pressure in the bladder.

f. You can store the roots in the freezer and re-use it a second time on the 13th day with only 6 cups of water. This can be used for another 8 days for a total of 21 days or 3 weeks. After that use fresh herbs.

g. This recipe can be used for 6 weeks to get good results or longer for severe kidney stones.

h. Ginger capsules 3x a day with meals, 1 Uva Ursi tablet for breakfast and 2 for dinner, Vitamin B6 a day before a meal, and 300mg of Magnesium oxide per day before a meal.
This is recommended for those who actually suffer from kidney stones. If you just need to cleanse your kidneys you just need to take lots of watermelon juice or even barley water.

3. Edgar Cayce's Watermelon Seed Tea
Edgar Cayce specifically recommends the Watermelon Seed Tea as a kidney cleanse. It is a diuretic for Kidney Stones and was given in a Cayce reading. It also stimulates under active kidneys. He says:
1. But at least once a day, three days a week, do take watermelon seed tea as a part of the water.

2. This would be prepared by pouring a pint of boiling water over a tablespoonful of watermelon seed (ground or cut) and allowing it to steep.

3. Let it cool, then strain and drink.

4. This will clarify those conditions that cause reactions in the kidneys and bladder, for, the lack of eliminations and the slowing up of the circulation causes a greater quantity of dross (toxins) to be held in the system, and these need to be eliminated from the body.

  1. Poor kidney function from chronic inflammation

    • 1
      Begin to juice for proper elimination when you have consulted your health care provider about changing your diet. Kidney function can be damaged by inflammatory molecules. Kidney function is restored when the body is excreting wastes and toxins properly.
    • 2
      Proper function of the kidneys is essential for metabolizing food and balancing hormones. Juicing daily with apples, parsley and watermelon allows the digestive system to absorb additional water. Toxins stored in the liver and kidneys, which serve as the body's waste and blood filtration organs, are flushed with juicing.
    • 3
      Ginger can be added to supplement a juice blend. It has anti-inflammatory effects that create synergism with raspberries and watermelon. Cooling recipes will assist in reducing inflammatory molecules that could damage kidney cell function.
      All juices should be made for immediate consumption. Make only what you will use immediately. Celery juice brings about relaxation. Celery juice combines with parsley to deepen the flavor of any fruit juice. These juices will help to evacuate the colon and begin a detoxification diet.
    • 4
      A summertime detoxifying juice is watermelon juice. The fiber from watermelons helps to cleans the colon and the kidneys. Watermelons work to restore and purify the kidneys and liver.
      Other foods that will assist with a detox diet specific to kidney function are garlic, potatoes, asparagus, horseradish and cucumber. Fruits to use for kidney function are papaya, banana and cranberries. When approaching or exploring a juice fast, these foods can supplement your diet regime.
    • 5
      Kidney function will be improved with habitual hydration, especially in weather conditions that induce sweating. Incorporation of fresh juice blends into a daily routine will enhance the body's ability to heal itself. Use a juice served over ice like a raspberry, ginger, watermelon blend.

Kidney Cleanse & Detox

Your kidneys are a very important part of your cleansing and detox system along with the liver, bowel, skin, lymph and lungs. Some toxins that have been processed by  your liver to make them water soluble are cleansed from your body by your kidneys through the urine. They help prevent toxins building up in your body damaging your cells and tissues. So you can understand that your kidney detox function is vital to your good health.
Your kidneys do a lot more than detoxify those nasty chemicals. They also:
  • get rid of wastes like urea and ammonia that are produced by the breakdown of proteins that you eat.
  • reabsorb nutrients and water vital to the body’s fluid balance
  • excrete substances the body cannot use in 1 – 2 liters (1–2 quarts) of urine they produce every day.
  • produce hormones to regulate blood pressure
  • help regulate blood pH
An overload of toxins can cause irritation and the whole of the urinary tract becomes more prone to infection. Normal kidney function may then be interfered with resulting in water retention, mineral deficiencies and kidney stones.
Do you need a kidney cleanse & detox?

Signs of poor kidney function can include:
  • fluid retention
  • frequent passing of urine
  • passing urine that irritates
  • frequent bladder or kidney infections
  • chronic lower back pain
  • high blood pressure
  • scalp irritation
  • frequent unexplained fevers or chills
Improving your bowel and liver detox will help cleanse the blood and reduce the load on the kidneys.  I am sure you have heard that drinking lots of water is essential for kidney cleansing and detox  but some doubts have been cast on that advice recently. Some researchers found that increasing water intake did not in fact increase the excretion of toxins. But the kidneys do need enough water to function efficiently.
Drinking about 8  – 10 x  8oz pure water a day should be sufficient if you are eating good amounts of fruit and vegetables as they contain water. There have been documented cases where people have become very ill from the effects of low sodium in the body from drinking excessive amounts of water.
If you are following a detox that includes nutritional support for the liver then that should take care of the kidney detox too. Many the nutrients that are needed for the function of the liver are also needed for the function of the kidneys.  If you are following a herbal detox plan then that will include herbs that are beneficial for the kidneys.
Juices for Kidney Cleanse & Detox
Potassium broth (recipe below) and raw vegetable juices are also good for detoxing the kidneys. A 3 day juice fast every so often including Watermelon Tea and potassium broth can be very beneficial. Celery, parsley and young dandelion leaves are particularly beneficial to include in vegetable juices.
For bladder disorders drink fresh vegetable juices that include beet (beetroot in the UK) , cabbage, carrot, cucumber, endive, spinach and watercress. Don’t alarmed if the beet makes your urine pink. About 10% of the population get this. The pigment that colors the beet does not get changed and is excreted.
For kidney problems include apple, asparagus, beetroot, broccoli cabbage, carrot, celery, cranberry, cucumber, endive, grape, melon, watermelon. Watermelon and melon are best juiced on their own. The diet should be low in protein and high in organic fresh fruit and vegetables. Alcohol, sugar, processed and high fat and carbohydrate foods should obviously be avoided.
Potassium Broth Recipe
There are a number of recipes for this. The basic idea is to simmer the vegetables long enough to draw out the potassium and other minerals so that you have a mineral rich liquid to help the body cleanse. It does not have to be exact. Make it to your taste.
Fill a large pot with organic vegetables – 25% potato peelings, 25% carrot peelings and whole chopped beets, 25% chopped onions, a whole large bulb of garlic, 25% celery and dark greens. Add hot peppers to taste.
Add enough pure water to cover vegetables, bring to boil, put on lid and simmer gently for 1  hour. Strain and drink only the broth. Put the vegetables in your compost. Left over broth can be stored in the fridge for 2 days.
It is important to use organic vegetables. to avoid consuming toxic insecticides, pesticides or inorganic chemical fertilizers while you are on a cleansing and detoxification program.

Lets clean house fluoride detox page3

Vitamin C in abundance was not mentioned as a helpful adjunct. It is now. But do not use ascorbic acid as your vitamin C source for an adjunct to any of the fluoride detox methods. Do take in as much other types of vitamin C as you can tolerate, along with a couple of tablespoons of lecithin daily. Add those to your absorbable calcium and magnesium supplements with plenty of pure water, get good sleep and rest, and the detox should be relatively smooth.

Chelation therapies are recommended primarily for heavy metal removals. Though fluorides are salts, the
synthetic waste product variety, sodium fluoride, comes with a cargo of toxic heavy metals. And these
pernicious salts have a way of combining more heavy metals. So including any one of several chelation
therapies may be beneficial for overall health improvements while applying your chosen fluoride remedy
or remedies.
Those include bentonite clay internally or externally, fulvic acid (NOT folic acid), cilantro pesto with
chlorella, and even DMSA or any other chellation therapy with which you are familiar.

Avoiding sprayed, commercially grown foods while consuming organic or locally grown foods is another big
step. Watch out for processed foods such as instant tea, grape juice products, and soy milk for babies.
They all contain high concentrations of sodium fluoride. So do many pharmaceutical "medicines". By
minimizing your sodium fluoride intake, your body can begin eliminating the fluorides in your system
slowly.
Magnesium is a very important mineral that many are lacking. Besides being so important in the
metabolism and synthesis of nutrients within your cells, it also inhibits the absorption of fluoride into your
cells! Along with magnesium, calcium seems to help attract the fluorides away from your bones and teeth,
allowing your body to eliminate those toxins. So during any detox efforts with fluoride, it is essential that
you include a healthy supplemental dose of absorbable calcium/magnesium as part of the protocol.
So Now Let's Speed Up the Fluoride Detox
This author received a comment stating that an earlier article's source reference to sunlight for
decalcifying the pineal gland was inaccurate. He said that darkness, not light, is needed to stimulate the
pineal gland into melatonin production, which should lead to breaking up the calcification of that gland.
Besides being logical, further source research indicates the critic is correct!
Day time exercise, a healthful diet, not over eating, and meditation all contribute to higher melatonin
production from the pineal gland. Though very helpful to many for getting a full night's deep sleep, it
appears inconclusive whether melatonin supplements will help decalcify the pineal gland. But it does seem
logical that it might.
Iodine supplementation has been clinically demonstrated to increase the urine irrigation of sodium
fluoride from the body as calcium fluoride. The calcium is robbed from your body, so make sure you are taking effective calcium and magnesium supplements.Lec i thi n is recommended as an adjunct to using iodine for excreting fluorides.

Iodine is another nutrient lacking in most diets and causing hypothyroid symptoms of lethargy or
metabolic imbalances. Eating lots of seafood for iodine has it's constantly rising mercury hazards. Seaweed
foods and iodine supplements that combine iodine and potassium iodide are highly recommended over sea
food by most.
Tamarind, originally indigenous to Africa but migrated into India and southeast Asia, has been used
medicinally in Ayurvedic Medicine. The pulp, bark, and leaves from the tree can be converted to teas and
strong tinctures, which have also shown the ability to eliminate fluorides through the urine.
Liver Cleanses are considered effective for eliminating fluorides and other toxins. There are two types of
liver cleansing, both of which can be performed easily at home over a week or two of time. One of the protocols focuses on the liver itself , and the other cleanses the gall bladder, which is directly connected with liver functions. Simple instructions for both can be found on line with search engine inquiries.

Boron was studied in other parts of the world with pronounced success for fluoride detoxification. Borox,
which contains boron, has a history of anecdotal success for detoxifying sodium fluoride. Yes, this is the borox you can find in the laundry aisles of some supermarkets. It needs to be taken in with pure water in small quantities.
This Borox (20 team mule) is what I started using. But got lazy and got Boron cap. at Whole Body. Health food store. Im going back to borox because I get my water from BonAqua natural spring water.
And I plan on putting it in all the water to treat everyone in the house. As I'm am the ginny pig. This is a maze
trying to get thing cleaned out and in order. I dont want to over whelm the kids and scare them away. Plus Ive been exposed to more and I'm older.
With that being said you too can get over whelmed. Please don't do all this or worry about all this at one time.
Take thing in steps. Don't change things so fast. Look things up inter your maze alone. I find that if you try to tell everyone and convince them too. No one goes from point A to Z in understanding, so putting all the info. out at one setting just seem to lose them. You don't need everyone approval nor for them to be convinced your right. Some people are just in a different world. Besides you don't know what is right yet not for you remember its a maze, and you surely don't know for them.Last but not least some people I just don't under stand. They are sick but don't really want to be better they just keep doing things that don't make sense. We are looking to find the root fix it and be done. They keep going to FDA chemical and/or treating symptoms. Remember God made you perfect it was all the imperfect that messed you up we are going to remove it. Do our best to get back to square one. Then it will heal its self. We cant get away from chemicals and things so a little maintenance from time to time. Not intaking with a blind eye as before and the little that we do will be taken care of by God design. Take your self on the journey and like me as people see you changes they start asking ??? then just give them little tidbits of info and let them start getting there own path started.
Because again no one is the same.
Here's the fun part start getting back to nature and find the natural out of the ground spring water. No not in a bottle. But strait out of the ground in your glass bottle. Think of it as an adventure.
Borox
As little as 1/32 of a teaspoon to 1/4 of a teaspoon in one liter of water consumed in small quantities
throughout the day is what has been demonstrated as safe and effective. Around 1/8 of a teaspoon with a
pinch of pure sea salt in a liter consumed in small quantities daily has been reported to have dramatic
results. There is the possibility of a food grade version with sodium borate, if you can find it.
Dry Saunas combined with exercise releases sodium fluoride stored in fatty tissues. It can be intense
enough to cause side effects or an occasional healing crisis. So keep the pure water intake high and drink some chickweed tea to protect the kidneys while using a highly absorbable cal/mag supplement. Lecithin is another useful adjunct to this protocol for fluoride detoxification
.
Those Adjuncts to the Listed Remedies

Lets clean house fluoride detox page1

(NaturalNews) You can rid you body of most fluorides with some easy natural remedies. Fluorides have
been linked to a variety of severe chronic, even acute health issues. First a quick review summary of
fluoride.
Fluoride Toxicity
Fluoride is a soluble salt, not a heavy metal. There are two basic types of fluoride. Calcium fluorideappears naturally in underground water sources and even seawater. Enough of it can cause skeletal or
dental fluorosis, which weakens bone and dental matter. But it is not nearly as toxic, nor does it
negatively affect so many other health issues as sodium fluoride, which is added to many water supplies.
Sodium Fluoride is a synthetic waste product of the nuclear, aluminum, and phosphate fertilizer industries.
This fluoride has an amazing capacity to combine and increase the potency of other toxic materials. The
sodium fluoride obtained from industrial waste and added to water supplies is also already contaminated
with lead, aluminum, and cadmium.
It damages the liver and kidneys, weakens the immune system, possibly leading to cancer, creates
symptoms that mimic fibromyalgia, and performs as a Trojan Horse to carry aluminum across the blood
brain barrier. The latter is recognized as a source of the notorious "dumbing down" with lower IQ's and
Alzheimer's effects of fluoride.
Another not commonly known organ victim of fluorosis is the pineal gland, located in the middle of the
brain. The pineal gland can become calcified from fluorides, inhibiting it's function as a melatonin
producer. Melatonin is needed for sound, deep sleep, and the lack of it also contributes to thyroid
 problems that affect the entire endocrine system. The pineal gland is also considered the physical link to
 the upper
chakras or third eye for spiritual and intuitive openings.
Various permutations of Sodium Fluoride are also in many insecticides for homes and pesticides for crops.
Sometimes it is even added to baby foods and bottled waters. If you live in a water fluoridated area,
purchase commercially grown fruits, especially grapes, and vegetables that are chemically sprayed and
grown areas irrigated by fluoridated water, you are getting a triple whammy! Better skip that fluoridated
toothpaste!
Avoiding Fluoride Contamination
As always, the first step in detoxifying is to curb taking in toxins. Purifying water by reverse osmosis or distillation in fluoridated water communities is a good start to slowing down your fluoride contamination. Distillation comes with a bit of controversy, as all the minerals are removed. A great mineral supplement such as Fulvic Acid (not folic acid) or unsulfured blackstrap molasses is recommended if you distill your water.

Let clean house..Parasite be gone

PARASITE: A living organism, which receives nourishment and shelter from another organism where it thrives.
HOST: An organism which
harbours the parasite = US!
and parasites are definitely
one type of visitor that's not welcomed to the body.
The term parasite relates to ‘any living thing that lives on or in another living organism’. Many parasites interfere with bodily functions, cause irritation; some destroy the host’s tissues and release toxins into the bloodstream.
There are 2 types of parasites. There are large ones referred to as worms and small ones that require a microscope to see.
Diseases caused by worms - round and flat worms.
The large worms while in an immature form can travel through your blood stream and infect any organ, gland or part of the body. Depending on the type of worm, they can grow anywhere from several inches up to many feet in length. They can lay thousand up to millions of eggs each day. The eggs stick to the walls of our intestines and can be microscopic in size. These large worms are called HEMINTHINS or INTESTINAL NEMATODES. The fish tape worm is the largest of the human tapeworms and can reach up to 33 feet in length or more! Beef and pork also have tapeworms.
Protozoal diseases - various amoebic infections (single celled, microscopic protozoa)
The small ones travel through your blood stream like bacteria or virus. They reproduce by dividing themselves much like bacteria do.
They to can invade any cell in the body. These small ones are called PROTOZOA.

There are also various classes of parasites depending on whether they live outside on the surface of the body or live inside the body of the host; either in the body's tissues, body's cavities, digestive tract or other organs, Worms of various kinds can enter the body through several avenues and if conditions are favourable for their development they may multiply. If this colony is not kept in check by the body's own defences, the infestation soon becomes a burden on the body and health is downgraded.
Intestinal parasites are most often due to insufficient or negligent hygiene, poorly washed foods or polluted water. All of these undesirable invaders take nutrients from the body and excrete hazardous wastes, which are destructive to the body, irritating and injuring. For example, allergies, arthritis, asthma or even nerve disorders can often be directly linked to parasite infections. Mild parasite infections can be completely asymptomatic, which does not make them less hazardous. It could be that a mild vague feeling (not feeling 100%), digestive Problems, colic, irritable, fatigue, off colour and generalised or localised pruritus (itchiness) are experienced. Heavy infestations can cause Symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Very heavy infestations can cause blood loss, anaemia, weight loss, appendicitis and even death! Some therapists speculate that the moon lays an intricate part in the nematode (worm) cycle. If a person is very nervous at the full moon, they may have worms and or parasites, because worms get rampant during a full moon!
The aim is to avoid becoming infected and strengthening the body to resist infestation. Worms l-o-v-e sugar, acid conditions and constipation. So therefore, a diet high in fibre and alkalising food is the best prevention and cure for infestations.

Symptoms of Parasites:
The word parasite comes from Greek meaning "one who eats off the table of another." Parasites eat and live off the food we consume, even our health supplements. They leave us the scraps. They often make us feel that we are not getting the nutrition from our food or that SOMETHING IS MISSING.
  • INABILITY TO GAIN OR LOSE WEIGHT
  • CHRONIC CANDIDA
  • YEAST INFECTIONS
  • CHRONIC SINUS OR EAR INFECTIONS
  • URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS
  • ITCHY EARS OR NOSE
  • ANAL ITCHING, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT
  • DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS
  • GAS AND BLOATING
  • DIARRHEA
  • MUCUSY STOOLS
  • HEMORRHOIDS
  • CONSTIPATION
  • IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME
  • GRINDING TEETH WHILE SLEEPING
  • HEART PAIN
  • NUMB HANDS
  • PAIN IN THE NAVEL
  • PAIN IN THE BACK,THIGHS OR SHOULDERS
  • ARTHRITIC PAINS
  • BURNING IN THE STOMACH
  • BED WETTING
  • DROOLING WHILE SLEEPING
  • ANY MENSTRUAL COMPLAINT
  • CYSTS AND FIBROIDS
  • EATING MORE AND STILL BEING HUNGRY
  • ALL SKIN PROBLEMS
  • FORGETFULNESS
  • DEPRESSION
  • CHRONIC FATIGUE
  • CHRONIC VIRAL SYNDROMES
  • PROSTATE PROBLEMS AND SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION IN MEN
  • WATER RETENTION (mostly from tapeworms)
  • CRAWLING FEELING UNDER THE SKIN
  • FLOATERS
  • LIVER/GALLBLADDER TROUBLE

And the list goes on and on. We must now be realistic. If 85% to 95% of the population, healthy or sick, has parasites, any illness can be suspected as having as its cause, parasites!

It is now being considered that perhaps 50% of all cancer, diabetes, asthma, arthritis and heart disease comes from parasites!

Testing for Parasites
It has been determined that the average hospital or lab is only able to catch 20% of the actual cases. Over 1000 species of parasites can live in your body and there are tests available only for 40 to 50 types. This means that your doctor, should he decide to test you, can only hope to find 5% of the parasites that can be tested for at a accuracy rate of 20% We are automatically missing 80% and have only a 20% chance of finding the remaining 5% that we can test for.

This ends up being a 1% accuracy. This is why we can have such an epidemic and it is going unnoticed.

What do Parasites do to us?
Parasites eat and eliminate wastes every day. They not only eat our food, BUT MANY OF THEM EAT HUMAN TISSUES. They also can eat the protein coating on your nerves.
Endo limax nana is a parasite that has been found to eat the calcium off our bones causing forms of arthritis. Entamoeba Histolytica can get into the liver, the lungs and the brain.

Immature forms of a worm called ROUND WORM, ALSO KNOWN AS ASCARIS, CAN GET INTO OUR LUNGS AND MAY CAUSE ASTHMA.
Many cases of chronic anemia can be from a parasite called HOOKWORM, also known as NECATOR AMERICANUS meaning AMERICAN MURDER. This parasite attaches itself to the lining of or intestines and bites into our blood vessels. It is capable of drinking an enormous amount of blood everyday. Hemoglobin levels as low as 15% of normal have been found in people with chronic hookworm disease.

Experts now feel that even seizures may be caused by parasites or even worms that can get into our brains!

Recently in her book, THE CURE FOR ALL DISEASES, Dr. Hulga Clark speculates that Diabetes can be caused by a worm called a FLUKE which can get into the pancreas and cause it to malfunction. Many researchers, including myself, have seen this to be true! The TV show "60 Minutes" highlighted a story of many children who had bloated bellies and had died of unknown causes. It was found upon autopsy that these children had died of DOG HEART TAPE WORMS. Tape worms that these children had picked up from dogs and had infected their bodies.

It is now being considered that heart disease and heart attacks may be higher in dog owners as these owners have had their hearts infected by these worms. This condition has been confirmed by autopsy.

Another type of roundworm is called whip worms. They inject a digestive fluid into our colon which turns the tissue of our colons into a liquid which the worm then sucks up. Pinworms have recently been found in the uterus, vulva and the fallopian tubes of some of my female patients. This is because when the worm travels to lay its eggs, it can get lost on its way back to the colon. In other words, it travels out of the colon, out of the anus into the vaginal area and gets lost on its way back. It's no wonder women can get rid of their vaginal infects. Worms can be crawling out of the anus carrying bacteria and candida right into the reproductive areas.

And to make matters worse they do this at night while your asleep.

Sound unbelievable? Do you get rectal itching that is worse at night or that ever wakes you up at night? Well guess who's coming to dinner!

Parasites release toxic wastes. These wastes are actually their feces and urine. Parasite urine is practically pure ammonia. Parasite wastes stress the kidneys, liver and immune system.

How do we get parasites?

The primary way is from our food and water. Over 50% of our food and water is infected. And organic food because it is grown with animal manure may be worse than commercial food.

In her book, THE CURE FOR HIV AND AIDS, Dr. Hulda Clark points out that much of the food we eat, the personal care items we use like shampoo, hand lotions and commercial cleaning solutions are high in solvents. The two most common solvents are BENZENE and PROPYL ALCOHOL. These solvents cause the microscopic eggs from parasites to hatch quickly in our bodies. Many years ago, before we were exposed to these chemicals, the parasite eggs would pass through our bodies leaving us safe. The eggs of parasites are microscopic and are the real danger. They can be passed sexually, through shaking hands, walking barefoot, eating or drinking from someone else's glass, bottle, can, fork etc., swimming in polluted lakes, rivers or streams, even by going to the beach.

Recent surveys have found that livestock inspectors might be missing as many as 1/2 of the parasite infected animals that go to slaughter.

Dr. Brooks claims that "eggs are readily transported through the air and it is not uncommon to find them in every room in the house.....complications are much common in women then men."

We get parasites from our pets. Anyone who is sick or has a health problem should try to remember when it started and when they got their pet. You may find it was around the same time.

Every time that your pet licks their anus they are putting thousands of parasite eggs are their tongues. When they go and lick you those eggs are going right onto YOU! The link between a sick child and a new puppy is seldom realized.
WHAT YOU CAN DO

Make sure that you wash your hands several times a day and especially after going to the rest room or if around animals. Never let your pets sleep in your bed or lick you on the mouth. Always wash yourself after a pet licks you.

Cook your meat and fish until it has no visible pink and is getting dry. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. Do not leave food out over night. The longer food sits out, the quicker the incubation period for parasites can begin. Always wash or peel raw fruits and vegetables. RAW FRUITS AND VEGETABLES CAN BE BIGGER SOURCE OF PARASITES THAN MEAT!!. Wash everything in foodgrade Hydrogen peroxide to avoid contamination.Or veggie wash I will check this out more or you can to see whats best.

Do not allow yourself to remain constipated. If your bowels do not move at least 2-3 times a day read up on CONSTIPATION REMEDIES diagnosis, causes, relief and treatments. The longer your feces stays in your digestive tract the greater a chance you have for parasites to grow.

THE LOST PRACTICE OF DE-WORMING

Prior to the 1930's it was very common that people would take castor oil, mineral oil or some type of herbal mixture to clear themselves of parasites. Each ethnic had their own way of doing this. This was done every six months, once a year or with the change in seasons.

In this way, people kept themselves clear of parasites. Medical doctors in the 1800's would commonly supervise the de-worming of their patients every 6 months, or once a year. Could this be where the traditional 6 month or annual check-up comes from?

In Europe, the medical community still recommends that you de-worm yourself, your animals and pets every six months.

If you are healthy, your body is handling the damage and poisons produced by these parasites and they are not producing disease your body. However, they may begin to produce disease at any time, depending on your life style, diet, and level of stress.
Hulda Clark says: "Getting rid of all parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. Imagine taking 10 such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites! Good news, perhaps, for the drug makers but not for you.
Yet three herbs can rid you of over 100 types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! Without any interference with any drug that you are already on! Does this sound too fantastic? Just too good to be true? They are natures gift to us. The herbs are:

Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree)
Wormwood (from the Artemisia shrub)
Common Cloves (from the clove tree)
These three herbs must be used together. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs. Only if you use them together will you rid yourself of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment."

Most people believe that parasites are something that happens to someone else. I don't have parasites. Well, that is true for some people, and that is false for many other people. It is estimated that more then 80 % of people in western world, have some parasitic or semi-parasitic animal living inside their body.

Get to know your parasite enemies:
  • Ascaris Lumbricoides, large roundworm of humans, is the most common nematode parasite of humans, infecting an estimated 1.47 billion individuals. Pathology can result from pneumonia caused by the worm's migration through the lungs, blocking of the gastrointestinal track or the bile or pancreatic duct. Ascaris Lumbricoides is physically indistinguishable from Ascaris suum.

  • It is estimated that pinworms infect more than 400,000,000 people throughout the world (10% of humans), and in many areas of the world (e.g., North America and Europe) it is the most common nematode parasite of humans. On a world-wide basis, however, Ascaris lumbricoides ranks #1 infecting more than 1,000,000,000 people (25% of humans).

  • The Tapeworm genus Hymenolepis contains in excess of 400 species (according to some authorities), virtually all of which are found in higher vertebrates. The life cycles for most species are unknown, but it's likely that they all involve insects as the intermediate host (with a cysticercoid as the metacestode stage).

  • There are many species of hookworms that infect mammals. The most important, at least from the human standpoint, are the human hookworms, Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus, which infect an estimated 800,000,000 persons, and the dog and cat hookworms, A. caninum and A. braziliense, respectively. Hookworms average about 10 mm in length and live in the small intestine of the host. The males and females mate, and the female produces eggs that are passed in the feces. Depending on the species, female hookworms can produce 10,000-25,000 eggs per day. About two days after passage the hookworm egg hatches, and the juvenile worm (or larva) develops into an infective stage in about five days. The next host is infected when an infective larva penetrates the host's skin. The juvenile worm migrates through the host's body and finally ends up in the host's small intestine where it grows to sexual maturity. The presence of hookworms can be demonstrated by finding the characteristic eggs in the feces; the eggs can not, however, be differentiated to species (view diagram of the life cycle).
    The mouthparts of hookworms are modified into cutting plates. Attachment of hookworms to the host's small intestine causes hemorrhages, and the hookworms feed on the host's blood. Hookworm disease can have devastating effects on humans, particularly children, due to the loss of excessive amounts of blood.
    Juveniles (larvae) of the dog and cat hookworms can infect humans, but the juvenile worms will not mature into adult worms. Rather, the juveniles remain in the skin where they continue to migrate for weeks (or even months in some instances). This results in a condition known as "cutaneous" or "dermal larval migrans" or "creeping eruption." Hence the importance of not allowing dogs and cats to defecate indiscriminately.

  • Strongyloides stercoralis is an unusual "parasite" in that it has both free-living and parasitic life cycles. In the parasitic life cycle, female worms are found in the superficial tissues of the human small intestine; there are apparently no parasitic males. The female worms produce larvae parthenogenically (without fertilization), and the larvae are passed in the host's feces. The presence of nematode larvae in a fecal sample is characteristic of strongylodiasis. Once passed in the feces, some of the larvae develop into "free-living" larvae, while others develop into "parasitic" larvae. The "free-living" larvae will complete their development in the soil and mature into free-living males and females. The free-living males and females mate, produce more larvae, and (as above) some of these larvae will develop into "free-living" larvae, while other will develop into "parasitic larvae." As one might imagine, this free-living life cycle constitutes an important reservoir for human infections.
    The "parasitic" larvae infect the human host by penetrating the skin (like the hookworms). The larvae migrate to the lungs, via the circulatory system, penetrate the alveoli into the small bronchioles, and they are "coughed up" and swallowed. Once they return to the small intestine, the larvae mature into parasitic females.
    S. stercoralis also infects humans via a mechanism called "autoinfection." Under some circumstances, such as chronic constipation, larvae produced by the parasitic females will remain in the intestinal tract long enough to develop into infective stages. Such larvae will penetrate the tissues of the intestinal tract and develop as if they had penetrated the skin. Autoinfection can also occur when larvae remain on and penetrate the perianal skin. Autoinfection often leads to very high worm burdens in humans.
    Since the parasitic females live in the superficial tissues of the small intestine, and can be present in high numbers, they can cause significant pathology.

  • There are approximately 60 species of whipworms that infect mammals. Only two are considered here, the human whipworm, Trichuris trichiura, and the canine whipworm, T. vulpis. These two species have a high degree of host specificity, but canine whipworms have been recovered from humans on rare occasions.
    Whipworms get their name from the characteristic shape of the adults. The adults live in the host's large intestine with their anterior ends embedded in the cells that line the intestine; each female can produce in excess of 10,000 eggs each day, and the worms can live several years. The eggs are passed in the host's feces, and they become infective in about three weeks. When an infective egg is eaten by the appropriate host it hatches in the small intestine, and the juvenile worm migrates to the large intestine where it reaches sexual maturity.
    Most infections of whipworms are probably asymptomatic. However, because the worms live a long time and a person can be reinfected constantly, heavy worm burdens can develop. Symptoms of whipworm infection can include diarrhea, dysentery, and anemia. Heavy infections in children can cause mental and physical retardation. Diagnosis depends on the demonstration of eggs, which have a characteristic appearance, in the feces.
  • Fasciola hepatica the common name of this parasite, the "sheep liver fluke," is somewhat misleading since this parasite is found in animals other than sheep (including cattle and humans), and the parasite resides in the bile ducts inside the liver rather than the liver itself. This species is a common parasite of sheep and cattle and, therefore, relatively easy to obtain.
    The adult parasites reside in the intrahepatic bile ducts, produce eggs, and the eggs are passed in the host's feces. After passing through the first intermediate host (a snail), cercariae encyst on vegetation. The definitive host is infected when it eats the contaminated vegetation. The metacercaria excysts in the definitive host's small intestine, and the immature worm penetrates the small intestine and migrates through the abdominal cavity to the host's liver. The juvenile worm penetrates and migrates through the host's liver and finally ends up in the bile ducts. The migration of the worms through the host's liver, and the presence of the worms in the bile ducts, are responsible for the pathology associated with fascioliasis.
    Fasciola hepatica is found in parts of the United States (view distribution), as well as in Great Britian, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa, and Australia. Fascioliasis in sheep and cattle results in animals that show low productivity (low weight gain, low milk production, etc.).

let start cleaning house.. Lymph node detox

What is the Lymphatic System
Most of us know little about the lymph system. We’re familiar with the lymph nodes located in the armpits and the groin, and have a vague notion that swelling of the nodes is a danger signal, but that’s it.
Did you know that the lymph system is twice the size of our other circulatory system?  Twice as much lymph as blood is present in our bodies, and we have twice as many lymph vessels as blood vessels.
As most readers probably know, much of the body is made up of water. Part of the water is in the bloodstream, but far more resides in the lymphatic system. Our cells are located in a sea of lymph, a pale fluid. The lymphatic vessels run parallel to the blood veins in the body. The vessels of the lymph system are filled with a fluid called lymph that is collected from the space between the cells in the body. The lymph fluids feed the cells of the body by transporting various nutrients such as salts, minerals, and proteins to every cell of the body. Likewise, lymph fluid carries cell wastes and debris that accumulate from normal cell function away from the cells and turns them over to the blood. The blood shuttles the wastes to the kidneys, lungs, colon, and skin for elimination. The lymph system can be thought of as the cellular toxin disposal system.

Lymph flows slowly upward through the body to the top of the chest at a rate approximating 3 quarts per day. Lymph collects, is filtered in, and then passes from nodes within the system. There are over six hundred lymph nodes in our bodies, some nodes are located just above the bend in the elbow. 20 to 30 large nodes are clustered deep within the underarm and upper chest regions. Lymph from the legs and genitals collects in and drains through a large collection of nodes in the groin. Lymph fluid also flows down from the head through the neck. Lymph from the nose, lips, and teeth drain through lymph nodes in the floor of the mouth. Other nodes are found in the tonsils and adenoids. This is a one-directional flow.
They engulf and destroy many foreign and toxic particles. Lymph nodes also contain b lymphocytes that produce antibodies to protect the body from future viruses, bacteria, yeast, and other organisms.

In a healthy state, lymph nodes are about the size of almonds. However, when they are overloaded with excess toxins, they swell and become painful. This occurs when the body experiences colds and infections. The lymph system is vital in helping to fight disease.

Why Detox your lymph system?

The lymph system has been little recognized nor researched until the latter half of this century. Indeed, in 1900, the structure and action of the lymph system remained largely undefined. Even within the past 10 years, most students would not have gained an awareness that organs such as the tonsils, adenoids, thymus, and spleen were part of the lymphatic system. Nor would they have learned that the lymph system is often the first line of immunological defence against harmful bacteria, toxin concentrations and oxygen starvation of one's cells.
When the lymphatic system is flowing freely everything is fine. When it backs up, however, there’s trouble. The consequences can be serious, even life-threatening. Not only are the building, repair and waste disposal systems affected by a disruption, the body’s defences against foreign substances are also impaired. In addition to filtering out toxic materials, the lymph nodes also produce substances which fight off invading viruses and bacteria and destroy abnormal cells that developed within the body, such as cancer cells. In addition to being part of the body’s plumbing and repair system, the lymphatics are an essential part of our immune system
Clearing the lymphatic system can substantially reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, or blockage of the arteries. Cleansing the lymphatic system allows the body to more efficiently clear excess cholesterol out of the arteries. That makes perfect sense, of course. One way to get rid of excess cholesterol is to clean out the disposal pathways. It’s like draining dirty water backed-up in your kitchen sink by unclogging the drain pipe or using a plunger to unstop the toilet.The other way to reduce the cholesterol in the arteries, of course, is to lower the intake of cholesterol-containing and cholesterol-producing foods in the diet.

Does your lymphatic system work?

Lymph fluid plus the cellular fluids it is in contact with constitute 80% of body fluid. Blood supplies the remaining 20%. All nutrients and oxygen travelling to, and all carbon dioxide and other metabolic by-product wastes travelling from each of your billions of cells is carried by lymph fluid. Lymph fluid can either be reabsorbed into the blood, or be filtered by one or more lymph nodes before entering the bloodstream.
When not working efficiently, the lymphatic system reduces the ability for the brain and other organs to do their work. Toxins normally filtered out and destroyed by the lymph system are offloaded onto other organs ... overloading them. Even as happens in the intestine and colon with poor health and nutrition habits --- stagnant lymph fluid may contain old deposits of dead bacteria, metabolic toxins, and dead cells.
Factors influencing the lymphatic system negatively are:
  • overwork: lack of rest periods;
  • sedentariness: lack of healthy exercise;
  • processed foods: lack of fresh foods;
  • authority-based toxic shame;
  • chronic depression: bureaucracy;
  • toxic chemical-based pollutants;
  • energy block attitudes and behaviours;
  • materialism restricting spirituality.

When the lymph system becomes blocked or sluggish, an oxygen-starved, toxic environment is created which will influence all the cells of the body. A stagnant toxic lymph flow can produce a thickened, turbid dirty lymph. It encourages degeneration of both cells and organs and contributes to tumour and cancer formation. Symptoms of congestion can include any one or any combination of the following. All of these conditions have shown consistent improvement following lymph drainage massage or other lymph clearing processes:
  • back pain;
  • breast congestion;
  • chronic bowel problems: constipation;
  • yeast infections;
  • chronic fatigue syndrome;
  • fibromyalgia;
  • skin disorders;
  • cellulite fat accumulations;
  • rheumatoid arthritis;
  • hormonal and emotional imbalances;
  • recurrent headaches;
  • chronic depression;
  • muscle and tissue tension;
  • chronic sinusitis, allergies;
  • gum disease and bad breath;
  • hearing, balance or sight problems;
  • recurrent tonsillitis, colds, ...
  • prostatitis;
  • overweight;
  • lupus;
  • haemorrhoids;
  • slow healing of burns, cuts, ....

A healthy lymph system produces lymphocytes which target and destroy unrecognized cells which are assumed to be, and usually are, destructive disease presenting germs.

What you can do for Lymphatic Health.

  • Dry brush massage
  • Showering with non-chlorinated water;
  • Electro-Lymph-atic Therapy.
  • Herbal remedies like AIM Herbal Release
  • Eat foods that do not cause excessive congestion. Excessive and partially digested proteins, highly refined foods, excessive sweets, and dairy increase lymphatic congestion. Limiting these foods improves lymph function.
  • All exercise with deep conscious breathing like Yoga, Tai Chi, Aikido, Qigong etc. Proper breathing is the most important thing you can do for maintaining health.  There’s a wrong way and a right way to breathe. Children breathe deeply, from their diaphragm. As we age, however, our breathing shifts to the chest and becomes more rapid and more shallow. Deep breathing is best. Take a few minutes each day to practice breathing deeply. Remember, the lymph system doesn’t have a heart to keep it flowing. It’s dependent on contraction of the muscles and breathing. So, breathe deeply and exercise either with the Yoga Swing or the Rebounder:

Dr.Hans Gruenn on the benefits of Rebounding.

Rebounding for lymphatic health

 Lymphacising magnifies results of ALL therapies
  • Increases levels of oxygen in the blood
  • Improves your posture
  • Improves respiration
  • It can also help you lose weight
  • ease back and joint pain
  • improve your cardiovascular system
  • relieve stress
  • reduce illness and
  • improve your immunity.
Lymphacising on a Body Energiser stimulates the immune system and increases internal cleansing most effectively to the cellular level. This subtle way of exercising to gravity (the natural force of attraction exerted by earths mass) has the effect of boosting immunity and generating a great deal of energy, while at the same time decreasing pain, respiratory problems and join stiffness. Lymphacising on a Body Energiser leads to an overall improvement in health, clears the mind, relaxes the body and boosts oxygen levels. With added advantage of energizing improving posture and enzyme activity in the digestive system because all 12 Acupuncture Meridians, Central Conception and Governing Vessel Meridians are self activated and balanced.

Rebounding on a Lymphaciser is the easiest, most effective way to total health and fitness for all ages. It uses the force of gravity to help tone muscles, exercise joints and improve flow in the blood and lymph systems. It's a total exercise for total fitness. It works every muscle in the body.

Fitness jumping has been used in rehabilitative settings for over 30 years. With the REBOUNDING Program, this well-researched technology is now available in Australia to create the ultimate cardiovascular workout suitable for the gym, home or office.
Taught entirely on a unique spring-enhanced device, this type of exercise allows the body to work harder, for a longer period of time, because the body is not absorbing the shock and stress of hard-surface workouts.
The REBOUNDING Program is accomplished by jumping only a few inches off the surface of the fitness equipment and reduces the jarring impact associated with other types of aerobic exercise. The Program is a fun workout for all ages, shapes, weights and sizes.

Lymphatic Massage: Manual lymphatic drainage

This technique is inexpensive and can be done anywhere. It does require either a therapist or a partner for the back half of our body, as it is relatively awkward to reach and relaxation during the massage is a must. Lymph massage has been practiced in Europe since the early 1930's but was not received in North America until the 1970's.

Lymph vessels are sensitive! and for effective drainage the massage of them must be very light!  Anyone who can provide a light and sensitive touch, and this is intensely important here, can learn a form of lymphatic massage. Remember, this is lymph massage, not deep muscle tissue restructuring!

TO BEGIN using this technique, you are best to visit a lymphatic drainage massage therapist. If satisfied and able to pay, you may wish to continue using their services. If finances are a problem, observe and sense carefully the movements and pressure and order of movements taken by the therapist. Then practice doing it on the front part your body until you believe your movements are synchronized with those of the therapist.
You can also do a course eg. at the SAFE Academy in Broadbeach.

More Fluoride stuff , so happy so many people keep asking for more..

HEALTH EFFECTS: Fluoride & the Thyroid

DIRECTORY: FAN > Health > Thyroid

Summation - Fluoride & the Thyroid:
According to the US National Research Council, "several lines of information indicate an effect of fluoride exposure on thyroid function."
Fluoride's potential to impair thyroid function is perhaps best illustrated by the fact that -- up until the 1970s -- European doctors used fluoride as a thyroid-suppressing medication for patients with HYPER-thyroidism (over-active thyroid). Fluoride was utilized because it was found to be effective at reducing the activity of the thyroid gland - even at doses as low as 2 mg/day.
Today, many people living in fluoridated communities are ingesting doses of fluoride (1.6-6.6 mg/day) that fall within the range of doses (2 to 10 mg/day) once used by doctors to reduce thyroid activity in hyperthyroid patients.
While it may be that the thyroid in a patient with hyperthyroidism is particularly susceptible to the anti-thyroid actions of fluoride, there is concern that current fluoride exposures may be playing a role in the widespread incidence of HYPO-thyroidism (under-active thyroid) in the U.S.
Hypothyrodisim, most commonly diagnosed in women over 40, is a serious condition with a diverse range of symptoms including: fatigue, depression, weight gain, hair loss, muscle pains, increased levels of "bad" cholesterol (LDL), and heart disease.. The drug (Synthroid) used to treat hypothyroidism is now one of the top five prescribed drugs in the U.S.
As recommended by the US National Research Council: “The effects of fluoride on various aspects of endocrine function should be examined further, particularly with respect to a possible role in the development of several diseases or mental states in the United States.”

Fluoride & the Thyroid - US National Research Council (2006):
“In summary, evidence of several types indicates that fluoride affects normal endocrine function or response; the effects of the fluoride-induced changes vary in degree and kind in different individuals. Fluoride is therefore an endocrine disruptor in the broad sense of altering normal endocrine function or response, although probably not in the sense of mimicking a normal hormone. The mechanisms of action remain to be worked out and appear to include both direct and indirect mechanisms, for example, direct stimulation or inhibition of hormone secretion by interference with second messenger function, indirect stimulation or inhibition of hormone secretion by effects on things such as calcium balance, and inhibition of peripheral enzymes that are necessary for activation of the normal hormone.”
