lymphatic detox re-post

  PLEASE people go to the beginning of my blog.. yes I was new to blogging and even worse than this typing and so on . But I have a lot of info. that explains your body your system of detox and how it works..If you don't take the time and go back you will miss so much,,,,, please go back.  I have been re-posting some but I can't do them all.. Besides it's like a book you cant skip around page 34,page 10 page 109  ya know.It's page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,.. You need to under stand how it works then understand what you are doing.

What is the Lymphatic System
Most of us know little about the lymph system. We’re familiar with the lymph nodes located in the armpits and the groin, and have a vague notion that swelling of the nodes is a danger signal, but that’s it.
Did you know that the lymph system is twice the size of our other circulatory system?  Twice as much lymph as blood is present in our bodies, and we have twice as many lymph vessels as blood vessels.
As most readers probably know, much of the body is made up of water. Part of the water is in the bloodstream, but far more resides in the lymphatic system. Our cells are located in a sea of lymph, a pale fluid. The lymphatic vessels run parallel to the blood veins in the body. The vessels of the lymph system are filled with a fluid called lymph that is collected from the space between the cells in the body. The lymph fluids feed the cells of the body by transporting various nutrients such as salts, minerals, and proteins to every cell of the body. Likewise, lymph fluid carries cell wastes and debris that accumulate from normal cell function away from the cells and turns them over to the blood. The blood shuttles the wastes to the kidneys, lungs, colon, and skin for elimination. The lymph system can be thought of as the cellular toxin disposal system.

Lymph flows slowly upward through the body to the top of the chest at a rate approximating 3 quarts per day. Lymph collects, is filtered in, and then passes from nodes within the system. There are over six hundred lymph nodes in our bodies, some nodes are located just above the bend in the elbow. 20 to 30 large nodes are clustered deep within the underarm and upper chest regions. Lymph from the legs and genitals collects in and drains through a large collection of nodes in the groin. Lymph fluid also flows down from the head through the neck. Lymph from the nose, lips, and teeth drain through lymph nodes in the floor of the mouth. Other nodes are found in the tonsils and adenoids. This is a one-directional flow.
They engulf and destroy many foreign and toxic particles. Lymph nodes also contain b lymphocytes that produce antibodies to protect the body from future viruses, bacteria, yeast, and other organisms.

In a healthy state, lymph nodes are about the size of almonds. However, when they are overloaded with excess toxins, they swell and become painful. This occurs when the body experiences colds and infections. The lymph system is vital in helping to fight disease.

Why Detox your lymph system?

The lymph system has been little recognized nor researched until the latter half of this century. Indeed, in 1900, the structure and action of the lymph system remained largely undefined. Even within the past 10 years, most students would not have gained an awareness that organs such as the tonsils, adenoids, thymus, and spleen were part of the lymphatic system. Nor would they have learned that the lymph system is often the first line of immunological defence against harmful bacteria, toxin concentrations and oxygen starvation of one's cells.
When the lymphatic system is flowing freely everything is fine. When it backs up, however, there’s trouble. The consequences can be serious, even life-threatening. Not only are the building, repair and waste disposal systems affected by a disruption, the body’s defences against foreign substances are also impaired. In addition to filtering out toxic materials, the lymph nodes also produce substances which fight off invading viruses and bacteria and destroy abnormal cells that developed within the body, such as cancer cells. In addition to being part of the body’s plumbing and repair system, the lymphatics are an essential part of our immune system
Clearing the lymphatic system can substantially reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, or blockage of the arteries. Cleansing the lymphatic system allows the body to more efficiently clear excess cholesterol out of the arteries. That makes perfect sense, of course. One way to get rid of excess cholesterol is to clean out the disposal pathways. It’s like draining dirty water backed-up in your kitchen sink by unclogging the drain pipe or using a plunger to unstop the toilet.The other way to reduce the cholesterol in the arteries, of course, is to lower the intake of cholesterol-containing and cholesterol-producing foods in the diet.

Does your lymphatic system work?

Lymph fluid plus the cellular fluids it is in contact with constitute 80% of body fluid. Blood supplies the remaining 20%. All nutrients and oxygen travelling to, and all carbon dioxide and other metabolic by-product wastes travelling from each of your billions of cells is carried by lymph fluid. Lymph fluid can either be reabsorbed into the blood, or be filtered by one or more lymph nodes before entering the bloodstream.
When not working efficiently, the lymphatic system reduces the ability for the brain and other organs to do their work. Toxins normally filtered out and destroyed by the lymph system are offloaded onto other organs ... overloading them. Even as happens in the intestine and colon with poor health and nutrition habits --- stagnant lymph fluid may contain old deposits of dead bacteria, metabolic toxins, and dead cells.
Factors influencing the lymphatic system negatively are:
  • overwork: lack of rest periods;
  • sedentariness: lack of healthy exercise;
  • processed foods: lack of fresh foods;
  • authority-based toxic shame;
  • chronic depression: bureaucracy;
  • toxic chemical-based pollutants;
  • energy block attitudes and behaviours;
  • materialism restricting spirituality.

When the lymph system becomes blocked or sluggish, an oxygen-starved, toxic environment is created which will influence all the cells of the body. A stagnant toxic lymph flow can produce a thickened, turbid dirty lymph. It encourages degeneration of both cells and organs and contributes to tumour and cancer formation. Symptoms of congestion can include any one or any combination of the following. All of these conditions have shown consistent improvement following lymph drainage massage or other lymph clearing processes:
  • back pain;
  • breast congestion;
  • chronic bowel problems: constipation;
  • yeast infections;
  • chronic fatigue syndrome;
  • fibromyalgia;
  • skin disorders;
  • cellulite fat accumulations;
  • rheumatoid arthritis;
  • hormonal and emotional imbalances;
  • recurrent headaches;
  • chronic depression;
  • muscle and tissue tension;
  • chronic sinusitis, allergies;
  • gum disease and bad breath;
  • hearing, balance or sight problems;
  • recurrent tonsillitis, colds, ...
  • prostatitis;
  • overweight;
  • lupus;
  • haemorrhoids;
  • slow healing of burns, cuts, ....
A healthy lymph system produces lymphocytes which target and destroy unrecognized cells which are assumed to be, and usually are, destructive disease presenting germs.

What you can do for Lymphatic Health.

  • Dry brush massage
  • Showering with non-chlorinated water;
  • Electro-Lymph-atic Therapy.
  • Herbal remedies like AIM Herbal Release
  • Eat foods that do not cause excessive congestion. Excessive and partially digested proteins, highly refined foods, excessive sweets, and dairy increase lymphatic congestion. Limiting these foods improves lymph function.
  • All exercise with deep conscious breathing like Yoga, Tai Chi, Aikido, Qigong etc. Proper breathing is the most important thing you can do for maintaining health.  There’s a wrong way and a right way to breathe. Children breathe deeply, from their diaphragm. As we age, however, our breathing shifts to the chest and becomes more rapid and more shallow. Deep breathing is best. Take a few minutes each day to practice breathing deeply. Remember, the lymph system doesn’t have a heart to keep it flowing. It’s dependent on contraction of the muscles and breathing. So, breathe deeply and exercise either with the Yoga Swing or the Rebounder:

Rebounding for lymphatic health

 Lymphacising magnifies results of ALL therapies
  • Increases levels of oxygen in the blood
  • Improves your posture
  • Improves respiration
  • It can also help you lose weight
  • ease back and joint pain
  • improve your cardiovascular system
  • relieve stress
  • reduce illness and
  • improve your immunity.
Lymphacising on a Body Energiser stimulates the immune system and increases internal cleansing most effectively to the cellular level. This subtle way of exercising to gravity (the natural force of attraction exerted by earths mass) has the effect of boosting immunity and generating a great deal of energy, while at the same time decreasing pain, respiratory problems and join stiffness. Lymphacising on a Body Energiser leads to an overall improvement in health, clears the mind, relaxes the body and boosts oxygen levels. With added advantage of energizing improving posture and enzyme activity in the digestive system because all 12 Acupuncture Meridians, Central Conception and Governing Vessel Meridians are self activated and balanced.

Rebounding on a Lymphaciser is the easiest, most effective way to total health and fitness for all ages. It uses the force of gravity to help tone muscles, exercise joints and improve flow in the blood and lymph systems. It's a total exercise for total fitness. It works every muscle in the body.

Fitness jumping has been used in rehabilitative settings for over 30 years. With the REBOUNDING Program, this well-researched technology is now available in Australia to create the ultimate cardiovascular workout suitable for the gym, home or office.
Taught entirely on a unique spring-enhanced device, this type of exercise allows the body to work harder, for a longer period of time, because the body is not absorbing the shock and stress of hard-surface workouts.
The REBOUNDING Program is accomplished by jumping only a few inches off the surface of the fitness equipment and reduces the jarring impact associated with other types of aerobic exercise. The Program is a fun workout for all ages, shapes, weights and sizes.

Lymphatic Massage: Manual lymphatic drainage

This technique is inexpensive and can be done anywhere. It does require either a therapist or a partner for the back half of our body, as it is relatively awkward to reach and relaxation during the massage is a must. Lymph massage has been practiced in Europe since the early 1930's but was not received in North America until the 1970's.

Lymph vessels are sensitive! and for effective drainage the massage of them must be very light!  Anyone who can provide a light and sensitive touch, and this is intensely important here, can learn a form of lymphatic massage. Remember, this is lymph massage, not deep muscle tissue restructuring!

TO BEGIN using this technique, you are best to visit a lymphatic drainage massage therapist. If satisfied and able to pay, you may wish to continue using their services. If finances are a problem, observe and sense carefully the movements and pressure and order of movements taken by the therapist. Then practice doing it on the front part your body until you believe your movements are synchronized with those of the therapist.
You can also do a course eg. at the SAFE Academy in Broadbeach.

juice fast-detox another repost

I ask you one more time are you game, time to  feel People fast for different reasons. Sometimes I fast for spiritual reason¾fasting can be an oasis where I can go to, to draw spiritual refreshment, away from the demands of this materialistic world. And sometimes I juice fast simply to detox or to rid off some extra pounds.

I personally find that juice fasting is one of the best and faster way to detox and to lose weight, for two simple reasons:
  • It effectively removes toxins; and
  • It feeds the body with nutrients that repairs, rebuilds and regenerates.
By juice fasting, we allow our digestive system to take a much needed rest. At the same time, we take in fresh fruit/vegetable in the form of juices that contains the necessary nutrients to help repair the damaged cells, heal and nourish.
The anti-oxidants from the juices neutralize free radicals and oxidation that are harmful to our body. It is this oxidation that is the root cause of many degenerative diseases in our body. Juicing forces out the precious nutrients within the fruit or vegetable fibers that compensate for what our body may have been lacking through months or years of reckless eating habits.
Fruit and vegetables are loaded with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, bioflavonoids, phytonutrients and carotenoids, which our body can easily digest and assimilate when taken in as juices.
You ask why don't we just eat the fruits whole. Well, consider a carrot. If you were to eat a carrot, your body is able to assimilate only a very small percentage of the beta-carotene. But when you drink carrot juice, your body is able to assimilate nearly 100% of the beta-carotene! This amount of beta-carotene can do much wonders for the repair and healing of your damaged cells, thus speeding up healing.
During a juice fast, the body is stimulated to greater metabolic and eliminative activity. After a prolonged fast, you will notice that you will lose some weight, your skin tightens or clears up, hair shines, your eyes brighten, and you will feel more energetic and sleep less.
And finally, juice fasting can also be a very humbling experience as you determine to resist temptations, building up your self-confidence as you sharpen your discipline and self-control that is required to go through a fast. Through fasting, you learn to control your body and appetite instead of having your body control your life.
Experience ... the miracle of juice fasting ...First of all, it is important to understand the difference between juice fasting and starvation. In the absence of food, the body cells will start to go around the body and feed on other dead cells, damaged tissues, and fatty deposits. These will be burned as fuel for energy when it has no access to food intake.

On prolonged juice fasts, cleansing takes place even into those hard-to-reach places. After feeding on the dead tissues and fats, the cells would have run out on them, and start feeding instead on abscesses, and even tumors. The body undergoes a tearing down of damaged materials and when fed with nutrition (from fresh juices), rebuilding and healing takes place.
Most healing starts to take place only after about 21 days of fasting. This prolonged period allows the body uninterrupted time to do the meticulous work of healing. During this spring-cleaning, you can expect these wastes/toxins being removed and being eliminated from your body (you will notice them coming out in slimy mucus form):
  • Trans-fatty acids and fatty tissues, and along with it, drugs, chemicals, pesticides, etc.
  • Dead, dying or diseased cells
  • Toxic wastes in the lymphatic system and bloodstream
  • Toxic wastes in the spleen, liver and kidneys
  • Excess mucus from the lungs and sinuses
  • Excess cholesterol
Years of faulty diet, beers, junk food, sweets, etc. are being torn down and released as toxins into the blood to be transported out of your body. Be sure to drink plenty of water (distilled is best) during fasting to flush these wastes out efficiently. You may encounter some healing crisis but count it as proof that your body is responding nicely to your fast.
Starvation, on the other hand, happens (and this can be dangerous) when in the absence of food, there is not even nutrition. During a prolonged starvation, the cells even start to attack the body's vital tissues for survival. This is why a full fast from food and fluids are not encouraged for more than three days.
When a prolonged juice fasting is done properly, you will find that at the end of it even though you feel physically weak, a lot of healing had taken place inside your body that you don't see. And as you slowly regain your strength, you will realize that your previous ailments may have also disappeared.
Spiritual Benefits from Prolonged Fasting
During prolonged fast and prayer, you save the time from preparing meals and spend it on prayer instead. The longer you fast, the more the flesh becomes weak and more sensitive and in tune with the spiritual realm. When you put in more time in prayer, you will experience spiritual or prayer breakthroughs that you may not experience otherwise.
When your physical flesh comes under pressure from weakness, it forces you to become detached so that you can quietly observe and realize who you really are. It can be a very humbling experience when even pride of life can be broken.
When you become spiritually bankrupt with nothing to turn to, you face a vacuum in your life that only God can fill. When you have nothing, then you realize that your dependence on God's mercy enables you to have the same mercy on others.
Ask God to bring to remembrance and bring release to those who have hurt you, and those whom you have hurt. Forgiveness releases you from the bondages of fear, doubt, guilt and hopelessness.

And the result?
At the end of a prolonged  30 or 40-day fast, you can expect any or all of the following:
  • The digestive system is given a well-deserved rest, allowing it to clear up. A clean colon promotes an overall healthy body.
  • Enhanced mental, physical and spiritual sensitivity
  • Rapid and safe weight loss
  • Increased energy level and vitality
  • Increased and improved mental clarity
  • Healing of chronic diseases caused by years of poor diet and lifestyle
  • Balanced nervous system
  • Revitalized organs
  • Reduced nasal stuffiness and congestions
  • Clearer/glowing complexion
  • Reduced water retention
  • A new you, rejuvenated physically, mentally and spiritually.When on juice fasting there is no fiber being consumed. However, fresh juices themselves contain gentle natural laxatives.
    During fasting, a huge amount of wastes, toxins, dead cells and diseased tissues are burned, and they are being loosed and expelled from the system. These wastes are eliminated from the system through our kidneys, bowels, skin and lungs, with the bowels being the main way out.
    If not eliminated properly, the toxic wastes remain in your colon and get re-absorbed into the system, poisoning the whole body. The toxins may try to get eliminated through other eliminative organs, particularly through the kidneys, which may result in overloading or damage.
    This is why in any detox program, it is so important that you drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins. Distilled water is particularly good at doing this as it is the best solvent to dissolve inorganic mineral substances or toxins.
    To aid with the elimination of wastes, there are a few options that you can consider doing.  But remember, these are to be done early on during your fasts, best during the first few days. These are whole new topics which you can read up on the internet:
    • Enema
    • Colon cleanse program or hydrotherapy (colonic irrigation)
    • Psyllium husks fiber drinks
    • I never had a problem

detox lymphatic system repost

With each passing decade since the end of World War II our planet has become silently, yet increasingly, toxic as pollutants from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, industrial chemicals and other residual offenders choke the land, water and air that sustain us. As our planet becomes dangerously congested with debris so do our bodies, as evidenced by the alarming rate of deaths due to preventable illness and disease. We are neither helpless nor hopeless in this dire state, and just as we can strive to minimize our imprint on the planet, we can also take measures to reduce, eliminate and cleanse toxins from the blood, tissues and organs of our bodies. One of several effective methods of detoxification is through lymphatic cleansing.

Among the various functions of the lymphatic system is its ability to carry waste away from the cells and bloodstream to the body's organs of elimination. The system is comprised of veins and capillaries, with one-way valves, that contain a clear fluid called lymph. This fluid also surrounds cells throughout the body and collects cellular debris before draining it into the lymphatic system. Lymph carries the waste on a one-way path toward the heart and passes through many filters (lymph nodes) where special white blood cells attack and eliminate foreign molecules.

Once the lymph fluid approaches the heart it is returned to circulation and makes its way for further cleansing of toxins by the liver and kidneys. The lymphatic vessels are not connected to the blood circulatory system, and unlike blood which is pumped by the heart, lymph fluid relies on bodily movement and exercise to drive it through the lymphatic system. Forceful flushing of the system cleanses lymph nodes, contributes to healthy, clear lymph fluid, and boosts the immune system. Stagnant, slow-moving and thick lymph fluid is due to a lethargic, toxic body and weakened immune system.

When the lymph fluid remains sluggish the lymph nodes become clogged and lose their filtering ability. Without routine flushing of the lymph, debris becomes trapped in the body, creating a toxic overload and contributing to the onset of disease.

Exacerbating the problem caused by lack of exercise is the constant onslaught of toxins from processed, denatured food and exposure to environmental pollutants. Regular exercise will help to offset these offenders.

Rebounding on a mini trampoline is perhaps the most efficient and forceful means of flushing the lymph while stimulating the immune system and defending against cancer and other ailments. During rebound exercise the forces of the upward and downward bounces – acceleration and deceleration – are vertically aligned on the same plane with gravity. It was proven by Albert Einstein in 1911 that the aligned forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity result in an increased gravitational load (1). What this means for the body is that during rebound exercise cells adjust to the increased load by becoming stronger. Rebounding strengthens virtually every cell of the body at the same time and is equivalent to resistance training for the cells.

It takes only two minutes of rebounding to flush the entire lymphatic system, while cleansing and strengthening cells and lymph nodes. A further benefit to the body is that during this brief time span the white blood cells of the immune system triple in number and remain elevated for an hour. These specialized cells play a major role in the body's defense against illness and disease. For one full hour their activity is increased as they perform their tasks of destroying and eliminating cancer cells and other toxins, expending themselves in the process. An hour after rebounding for two minutes the white blood cell count returns to normal (1, 2, 3).

At this point another two-minute rebound session would increase the demand for white blood cells as the process of cleansing, strengthening, and the flushing away of spent cells and other cancerous debris is repeated. A therapeutic strategy to rebuild health would be to rebound for two minutes every waking hour, or as many times a day as possible. Two minutes of gentle bouncing throughout the day is more effective for healing than one long session. Repeated short sessions sustain an active immune system, oxygenate and strengthen cells, and continuously cleanse the lymph. Therapeutic rebounding has been shown to reduce cancerous tumors and improve or heal a host of other ailments (3).

Those who are too weak to exercise or have difficulty standing can use a stabilizer bar which is available with most quality rebounders, such as the Needak model. This enables the weak individual to feel secure while bouncing gently. It's important to begin slowly, and gradually increase to two minutes.

Rebounding can be performed by healthy individuals for health maintenance and disease prevention. One or more long sessions of aerobic rebounding will help stimulate the immune system, improve digestion, control weight, tone and strengthen the body, and build endurance – especially when done with hand-held weights.

When beginning a program of regular rebounding it's best to gradually increase time and intensity as the body – including bones and internal organs – adjusts to the increased gravitational load and becomes stronger.

A healthy existence can only be sustained when we recognize the correlation between our toxic planet and our polluted bodies and become conscious stewards of both. One means toward this end is through daily rebounding combined with an alkaline diet to detoxify the body and profoundly contribute to optimum healing.
